BC Elections 2020
First off, I would like to thank all of you who joined us in the daily zoom calls over the past 20 days preceding the election and the final day of praying for the government that would be established as a result of the election. Whether you were able to join us on the call or you prayed on your own, we need to know that God is in control and He answers pray. So thank you for taking the time out of your busy lives to pray for our beautiful province of British Columbia! Our prayer times were fuelled by 1 Timothy 2:1-2 which states: “I urge then first of all, that petitions, prayers, intercession and thanksgiving be made for all people - for kings and all those in authority that we may live peaceful and quiet lives in all godliness and holiness”. We began the 20 days with the scripture in Deuteronomy 1:13 – “Choose some wise, understanding and respected men from each of your tribes and I will set them over you”. With this in mind we prayed through all 87 constituencies and every candidate. Our prayer was that God would highlight the candidate to the people that would be wise, understanding, have a servant’s heart for the people and be integrous. We felt the province was suffering from lethargy or apathy. We called for people to wake up to the fact there was an election happening. That God would highlight the person they should vote for and that favour would rest upon them. We prayed for exposure into any corruption and we stood in the gap for any place our resources had been exploited and given away to other nations; for not valuing our inheritance here in B.C. We also prayed for our Human Resources and asked for forgiveness where any have been abused or misused. We then blessed our province with prosperity and prayed that God would bring godly people to work even behind the scenes within the legislature. We also consistently bound any antichrist agenda and called forth righteousness to be established in our province. We spoke out a decree as follows over British Columbia as part of our daily times together.
Decree for British Columbia
In Jesus’ name, I declare and decree that all who serve in British Columbia’s government positions are visited by the righteousness, truth and justice of God, and that they live in the fullness of Christ’s wisdom in all they do. I declare and decree that any corruption in government will be exposed and dealt with in wisdom and righteousness in order for the province of British Columbia to be cleansed.
In Jesus’ name, I declare and decree that the education leaders, systems, and institutions in British Columbia are being filled with Kingdom values, wisdom, conviction and truth.
We declare these in Jesus’ name.
